Andy Rooney on Women over 40

As I grow in age, I value women who are over 40 most of all.
Here are just a few reasons why:



--- A woman over 40 will not lie next to you in bed and ask, "What are you thinking?" She doesn't care what you think.

--- If a woman over 40 doesn't want to watch the game, she doesn't sit around whining about it. She does something she wants to do. And it's usually something more interesting.

--- Women over 40 are dignified. They seldom have a screaming match with you at the opera or in the middle of an expensive restaurant. Of course. if you deserve it, they won't hesitate to shoot you, if they think they can get away with it.

-- A woman over 40 looks good wearing bright red lipstick. This is not true of younger women or drag queens. Once you get past a wrinkle or two, a woman over 40 is far sexier than her younger counter part.

--- Older women are forthright and honest. They'll tell you right off you are a jerk if you are acting like one! You don't ever have to worry where you stand with her.

Yes, we praise women over 40 for a multitude of reasons.
Unfortunately, it's not reciprocal.
For every stunning, smart, well-coiffed hot woman of 40+,
there is a bald, paunchy relic in yellow pants making a fool of himself with some 22-year-old waitress.

For all those men who say, Why buy a cow when you can get milk for free.
Here's an update for you:
Now days, 80% of women are against marriage, WHY?
Because women realize it's not worth buying an entire pig just to get a little sausage.

I BELIEVE…

in the regular taking of Communion as an act of remembering

what the Lord Jesus did for me on the cross.

I BELIEVE…

I should be in a growing relationship with Jesus

by obeying God’s Word, yielding to the Holy Spirit and

by being conformed to the image of Christ.

I BELIEVE…

as a child of God,

I are an overcomer and more than conqueror and

God intends for me to experience the abundant life He has in store for me.

I had just purchased his book "Your Best Life Now" and was excited to get started reading it last night as I went to bed.

I decided to check on the internet and find their webpage for Lakewood Church in Houston, Texas and yes, it is there. Link to it by my Title.

I saw him on CNN recently as I was hoping to see Tommy's interview and was so excited with the comments Joel made back to the host.

He was asked why he didn't preach about gay marriages and abortion and the most magnificent smile with true eyes of wisdom looked back and said that is not the issue.

I loved it! A preacher that was not going to get up in front of you to preach the wrongs of sin but use motivation to get his message to us.

NOW! I have just got to get someone to go with me, buy a ticket.

I have not been upset about not having a tv antena or statelit BUT now I want it. Then, I can see the services and lectures he presents to us. But, I don't have either and can't afford it but that is ok cause somehow, someway, I will get them.

God is Good.

If anyone is reading the above mentioned book or have read it, I sure would like to start an open discussion on it. Let me know.
