My New Roses
To my surpirse
I found not one,
not six,
not a dozen
but
25 long stem roses!
I have never seen any like these
for they were white with a red trim.
What a beautiful surprise to have waiting for me.
Aren't I loved !!!
Well, what can I say? The ramblings of yet another southern belle from Georgia. What more can you ask for? Ya'll come back now, you here?

Wow! That was so sweet! They're gorgeous!
Thank you, Karla.
I have taken the blooms off and drying them.
I have taken the stems and cut them in two, split the ends with a knife and have them in soil.
I just read online where you can put the stems with one leaf branch into soil and water in a gal. baggie, zip it up and keep it in a bright location.
NO direct sun and they should root.
We will see!
I have not touched the baggies on the deck with the rose clippings in them. I see the leaves are still green as is the stalks. I hope they root. Perhaps I will move them out from under the picknic table that Karla gave to me and check on them this weekend.
I am excited! I want a couple to be rooted and then after a week or so, I can perhaps transfer them to pots.
